On July 2nd, CAPCOM revealed plans to launch Resident Evil 7: biohazard for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as all iPads and Macs featuring the M1 chip or newer.
Alongside this, the remake of Resident Evil 2 will also be available for these Apple devices. The main game of Resident Evil 7: biohazard and the Not A Hero DLC will be bundled together, with an option to purchase the Gold Edition upgrade with additional DLC.
The iPhone and iPad versions will feature enhanced controls and a new Auto Fire function for improved gameplay.
Resident Evil 7: biohazard originally launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in January 2017, later expanding to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in June 2022.
It also had a cloud version for Nintendo Switch and was titled Biohazard 7: resident evil in Japan. The Resident Evil 2 remake first released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in January 2019, and also received upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in June 2022.
This remake, which offers third-person perspective gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4, also became available as a cloud version for the Switch.
