Kadokawa has revealed exciting details about the upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel series, “Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo,” penned by Izumi Okido.
The announcement includes the release of the first trailer, key visual, broadcast month (October), and the primary cast and crew members.
In this much-anticipated anime, viewers will witness the intriguing tale of Alicia Williams, whose life takes an unexpected turn when her wish to become the “villainess” is granted.
However, the plot takes a fascinating twist as Alicia’s villainous role isn’t as straightforward as it seems—people find themselves irresistibly drawn to her.

The newly unveiled trailer introduces Kanna Nakamura, known for her role as Urushi Yaotome in “When Will Ayumu Make His Move?” as the voice behind the lead character, the enigmatic “villainess” Williams Alicia.
Additionally, Kaito Ishikawa, acclaimed for his portrayal of Tobio Kageyama in “Haikyu!!,” takes on the role of Seeker Duke.
Directed by Yuji Yanase, recognized for his work on “By the Grace of the Gods,” the anime is produced by MAHO FILM. Sawako Hirabayashi, the mind behind “Wolf Girl & Black Prince,” is responsible for the series composition, while Yuko Watabe and Eri Kojima contribute to the main character designs.
Moe Hyuga, acclaimed for “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten,” lends his musical talents to the series.
