The fight between Zephyr and Blue dragon has continued from the previous chapters. By combining their fighting powers, Zephyr and Dariel have managed to finally destroy the breath pocket of the dragon but Dariel is now left with only 17 black dragon arrows which could become a huge handicap for them in the upcoming fights.
Dariel thinks that because 3 arrows are used for every crimson meteor he uses, He can only use that move 5 more times and so he would have to choose it wisely. He can also use his skills two times only and so it’s crucial he uses those attacks with utmost precision. Zephyr thinks about his past life and how he fought the blue dragon then.
After the Blue dragon’s heart was stolen by the demon god cult, he took form using the ritual space and continued fighting. He is no ordinary opponent as it took Zephyr 1 month to defeat this dragon the last time they clashed and even after that, he was left unconscious in the end due to the intense damage his body suffered from fighting so hard.
Zephyr is able to hold his ground because of his knowledge from his previous life. He uses his telekinetic power to parry the dragon’s next attack and disappear from its sight. He then uses the Silver Key to pierce the Dragon’s Neck and pin it to the ground after landing a punch to its face.
Dariel uses 3 of his black dragon arrows to help Zephyr. When the dragon fell to the ground, he used 3 more arrows to make sure it stays down and so he was not left with only 11 arrows. Dariel successfully cuts off the Dragon’s left arm. The Blue Dragon starts to get flashbacks of his previous life as the light fades from his eyes.
The Blue Dragon sees his lord Kaiserus and how he was defeated by Georgius and his dragon-slaying sword Gram. He thinks back to how he thanked Georgius for freeing Kaiserus from his curse 1000 years ago but he never forgave him as he’s the vessel for Kaiserus and so he asked Georgius to go away and never return or he’ll kill him.
Meanwhile, Dariel and Kiara see the dragon stop moving and try to figure out what happened. Kiara believes it’s over but Dariel is still not convinced when suddenly everything starts to shake even the tree of life. The Blue dragon Artalis awakens and recognises Zephyr as Georgius and tells him that he would not break his oath by letting him live.
Artalis uses his life force and converts it into energy to make a sword out of it. He announces that he will take revenge now and carry out his duty. Zephyr gets shocked by this sudden change by decides not to back down and face him head-on.
