Reflection Of You Synopsis
The drama revolves around two women and their take on life. Jeong Hee-joo had a distrubing childhood. She couldn’t enjoy the joys that childhood brings into a person’s life. Her younger days were spent in poverty. However, presently the circumstances in her life is very different from the previous one. She now leads a life many can only think of. Happily married in a very lavish family she has now everything she ever wanted. Hee-joo wanted to get out of her shell, out of her only identity of being a mother of two children. As an individual she wanted to fulfill her desires. She attained success in her life as she became a famous essayist and painter. However, inspite of having everything she doesn’t really feel happy. An emptiness grows inside her and we can say that because of her past life.
On the other hand Goo Hae Won is an art teacher by profession. Though she has not so much materialistic things in her life she somehow seems happy. Goo Hae Won is hurt after having an encounter with Hee-joo. Her wound gets deeper after their meeting. Maybe it is related to something that ties both of their pasts. However, what exactly is the reason will be revealed later when the episodes come out.
From The Trailer Of The Series
Infact, the trailer of the series starts with the voice over of Hee-Joo saying “I think about hell” , “Though alive i think about hell”, which gives a clear indication as mentioned above that she finds no reason to be alive or everything happing around her doesn’t matter to her much as she has stopped feeling anything. The next scene cuts to a school scene where Hae- won is seen hitting a girl with a book. By the looks of the trailer it seems that a lot is there between these two women that they need to settle on. We as audiences need to hold on to our anticipation a little bit longer till the first episodes gets released.
