Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire? Episode 6 Review
This episode was fantastic. Inglis’s amusing behavior. Did no one anticipate that Inglis and Rahi would consume the school lunch budget? Inglis will undoubtedly act erratically and fire light beams from behind her to accelerate her flying craft. And it came after she completed her gravity training. It makes sense why she eats so much to replenish her energy.
There are some fascinating flying machines. It’s reminiscent of Nausicaa in some ways, but I like how the advanced technology contrasts with the sword and sorcery world around it. It is one of the show’s strongest points that it does not rely on the typical JRPG video game worldbuilding and instead tries to do something different. This kind of test is very frustrating, I agree with Inglis.
That teacher is pretty nasty behind her ditzy behavior. Getting out of the labyrinth is an Inglis solution, though. That girl doesn’t grasp subtlety. She also rescued the other two, which defeated the test’s purpose. This teacher is going to be her nemesis. Inglis’ reaction to meeting her successor is fascinating. “I left you in charge, so why is the world such a mess now?” she was asking. Despite her expressed desire to forego being a hero in favor of letting others save the world, she appears to be bothered by this.

About Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire
As a divine knight, Inglis slew humanity’s enemies and the dark gods to establish the Kingdom of Silvare with the goddess Alistia’s blessing. The goddess Alistia reincarnated Inglis as a final favor on his deathbed because his single greatest regret was not being able to master the sword at its peak.
Inglis Eucus, now a woman (perhaps at the whim of the goddess), is determined to become a master of the blade in the distant future.
