Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire Episode 5: Royal Knights Academy Recap
Inglis and Rafi visit the city of Ahlemin and witness the frozen body of a legendary magicite beast. Inglis, like always, hopes that she can fight that beast someday, which scares Rafi. Suddenly an alarm is raised to alert everyone of a magicite beast invasion. Inglis rushes towards the site of action, and Rafi, unable to catch up, falls behind.
Arriving at the site, Inglis gets excited about fighting so many beasts, but she’s interrupted by a mysterious girl. Inglis notices that girl has a rare artifact and realizes she’s strong. She decides that she can’t be outdone and starts killing beasts along with her. Rafi arrives at the scene and Joins them. They, along with some other knights, easily wipe out the horde and save the town.
A Knight offers a reward to Inglis and Rafi but calls Leone a traitor, and it is revealed that she’s the sister of Sir Leon, even though he is later revealed to be innocent. Rafi gets outraged, and suddenly her brother, Rafael, arrives and stops the Knight from accusing Leone. He takes them all for lunch and explains that he and his Menace Partner have come to Ahlemin to transport the frozen beast to avoid any more horde appearances.
Leone, Inglis, and Rafi begin their Knight academy together. Leone is called a traitor by many students in whispers. All the students are greeted by the principal, Miriela. She tells the student about a first-day test and asks everyone to throw their artifacts.
Using her own artifact, Miriela creates a zone where gravity increases to such an extent that it nearly immobilizes all students. She tells the students that whoever survives in that zone for one minute will get free food for 30 days. Miriela sends in her drones to throw students out, but Inglis defeats them in 1 second.
Shocked by this, Miriela says it was just a demonstration and restarts the test. Inglis still ends the test in 1 second, which forces Miriela to make a secret deal with her that if she let all students lose first and then win, she’d let her eat free food for three months. Inglis accepts the offer, and finally, the test ends.
In the last moments of the episode, we see Leone getting badmouthed by a student named Aricia, who demands a separate room because she can’t live with a traitor. Rafi and Inglis take Leone with them, and Leone thanks Inglis for everything she has done for her.
