The epic battle between Soohyun and Jintae has reached its conclusion in Quest Supremacy. Soohyun emerged victorious due to the strength of his card collection, which proved superior to Jintae’s cards.
With his vast array of powerful cards, Soohyun was able to defeat Jintae and gain valuable intel on Choyun in the process. That is the reason why fans of the series are really excited about the release date of the upcoming Quest Supremacy Chapter 112.
In Chapter 111, Soohyun gains the upper hand again by using a buff card that increases his stats. This allows him to easily dodge all of Jintae’s attacks before they can hit him.
However Soohyun doesn’t just evade – he goes on the offensive with Old-fashioned Taekkyon, landing a mighty blow on Jintae’s face.
As we head towards Chapter 112, it’s clear that Soohyun is gearing up to take down Choyun next. His card collection and fighting abilities make him a formidable foe that won’t be easy for Choyun to beat. The climax of this long battle is approaching.
Recap and Review
Having gauged his own strength against Jintae’s, Soohyun realizes he has reached at least parity if not outright superiority over his opponent’s current level of power.
If Soohyun utilized more of the special ability cards in his vast collection, he could easily finish this fight. However, Choyun is closely observing this battle, so employing his cards would reveal their capabilities to Choyun and put Soohyun at a disadvantage later when they eventually clash.
Since Choyun has not yet seen the full breadth of Soohyun’s assembled cards, Soohyun decides to try and conceal the true extent of his deck. He hopes to maintain an element of surprise to use against Choyun at the optimal moment.
Soohyun charges towards Jintae, attempting to win the battle using only standard attack cards, but this proves more difficult than anticipated. Jintae successfully blocks Soohyun’s assault and immediately counters with his own strike.
Left with no other option, Soohyun is forced to utilize a guard fist card to block Jintae’s counterattack. Seizing an opening, Soohyun then plays a stun fist card, landing a clean punch on Jintae that leaves him dazed and unconscious for 3 crucial seconds.
Sensing the opportunity, Soohyun decides to unleash the full power of his collected cards in those 3 seconds, hoping to decisively end the fight. But Choyun cleverly plays a nullify card from his own deck, freeing Jintae from the stun effect before Soohyun can capitalize.
Caught off guard by the unexpected nullify card, Soohyun is left exposed as Jintae regains awareness and nimbly dodges his incoming attack.
With his plan to quickly finish the fight thwarted, Soohyun finds himself on the defensive as Jintae unleashes a barrage of brutal strikes.
Choyun makes matters even worse by using an enhancement card to drastically boost Jintae’s power level, forcing Soohyun back with the intensity of this suddenly amplified onslaught.
Soohyun realizes that even with Choyun’s buffs, Jintae is not fully under his control. If Soohyun can turn this into a battle of wits, he may have a chance at winning. After constant attacks drain his energy, Soohyun goes for a grapple maneuver, tricking Jintae into letting his guard down.
Seizing the moment, Soohyun lands a devastating upper skyrocket punch that sends Jintae flying. Using a recovery bean, Soohyun restores his own strength to full. Choyun acknowledges Soohyun’s clever recovery tactic, but notes the downside – he’s not the only one with access to healing items.
Spoilers and Expectations
Choyun plays his “Rice of Recovery” card, immediately restoring all of Jintae’s lost stamina. With his power replenished, Jintae punches Soohyun in the gut and slams him into the wall. The healing cards have allowed both sides to refresh themselves, proving this battle has no easy resolution.
Soohyun must continue to out-think and out-maneuver his opponents, turning their own moves against them. Recovery items may stall defeat, but craftiness and skill will decide the victor. Soohyun must transform this into a true contest of strategy to gain the upper hand.
