The event was scheduled for February 8, with the Duke of Sussex presenting the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award to Pittsburgh Steelers’ Cameron Heyward.
While on stage, he jestingly remarked, “You stole rugby from us and made it your own…” However, the same NFL appearance quickly came under scrutiny as royal commentator Charles Rae strongly criticized the duke’s presence in Las Vegas.
In a discussion with GB News, labeling Prince Harry “a lost cause,” the commentator expressed frustration at his omission of mentioning his father during the NFL event.
Rae also emphasized that Harry may have an “ulterior motive” for his recent UK visit, as they were seen with Paramount executives. Various media sources suggest he jetted to the UK for a supposed PR stunt.
