Capcom’s sci-fi action game PRAGMATA sold 2.73 million copies between its April 17, 2026 launch and September 30, 2026, according to the company’s first-half financial report for the fiscal year ending March 2027. The figure appears in the report’s title sales table on page 6, where the game is listed among Capcom’s leading sellers for the reporting period.
The sales update comes as Capcom continues to benefit from a mix of new releases and long-running catalogue titles. PRAGMATA’s total reflects its sales since launch, while Capcom’s separate second-quarter figures show that the game added another 229,000 copies during the July-to-September quarter.
PRAGMATA launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Its science-fiction setting and action-focused gameplay distinguish it from Capcom’s established franchises, including Resident Evil and Monster Hunter.
Capcom Reports Record First-Half Game Sales
PRAGMATA’s performance forms part of a strong six-month period for Capcom’s Digital Contents business. The company sold 36.86 million game units during the first half of fiscal 2026, a 54.5% increase compared with 23.85 million units during the same period a year earlier. Catalogue games accounted for 32.18 million units, representing 87.3% of total sales.
Other major sellers included Resident Evil 4, which moved 3.54 million units during the period, and Resident Evil Requiem, which reached 8.51 million lifetime sales. Onimusha: Way of the Sword, released on September 4, also recorded 1.78 million units.

Capcom’s report highlights how both recent releases and older games continue to support its business. PRAGMATA’s 2.73 million sales give the new property a strong opening six-month performance, while the publisher’s wider catalogue continues to generate substantial sales. The figures cover the six months ending September 30, 2026, rather than the calendar year.
