Tommy Egan and Miguel Garcia, Shanti and Claudia, Vic the Snitch, everyone is coming to a clash in as the final episodes of Power Book IV: Force Season 2 slowly make their way to the small screens. Now it is all a matter of who can stay on top. For one part, the cops trailing Tommy are even willing to corrupt themselves and bring up some bs charges to get him.
For another, Tommy’s rivals are being careful, they know they’re on the bottom side of the game because Tommy is simply too agile, smart and cunning but they can’t make a move against him because Tommy will send them back in a coffin.
But things aren’t easy for Tommy because he has a huge target on his back —both from law enforcement and the rival gangs—, so, how is Tommy going to deal with these issues? Everything will be unfolded as the final climactic moments of Power Book IV: Forces’ sophomore season unfold, that’s for sure.
Power Book IV: Force Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
Episode seven was essentially a chess game, a game of planned strategies between rivals. Since Tommy has a lof of heat of his ass, he must tread carefully and he must stay ahead of his rivals. Also, we get to see how Tommy’s relationship with Mireya García evolves, as well as how Janard and Shanti get along.
Here’s the nitty gritty of it. We begin, as I said earlier with a game of chess, because several characters are making a move to gain an advantage. Miguel García and Tommy Egan’s conflict is reaching a boiling point, with Tommy ahead of García in the drug trade, up to the point that García’s grandma warns him to stay alert.
We then move to Shanti, a ruthless, cunning player in the drug trade who uncovered a secret concerning Mireya and Tommy. Shanti’s alliance with Claudia Flynn adds a new layer of complexity in their story arc development.
Then, there’s Vic’s actions, Vic is working with the cops, he is a snitch, and snitches get stitches. Moreover, Tommy plans to use the Serbians to gain some edge as he tries to become the drug kingpin of Chicago.
