The last chapter was very chaotic, with the Archangels fighting Kigyu, but something completely unexpected happened towards the end. In the previous chapter of Player Who Can’t Level Up, the Archangels still pretty much went up against Kigyu because they were sure that he was the Lord of Hell. Gabriel was the one leading the forces against Kigyu, declaring him their common enemy, but the angels were confused because of what was happening.
Only God is supposed to be able to use the power of life and death, but Kigyu was able to do it. It made them wonder if he really was their enemy or if he was someone close to being like their father. Of course, Gabriel was not ready to believe that Kigyu was not evil.
Michael ends up getting her memories back, and the ritual is completed as she becomes the holy sword. Gabriel was very angry because he couldn’t comprehend why Michael was taking Kigyu’s side and why the other Archangels were hesitating to go up against Kigyu.
Just when Elle becomes the sword, Kigyu decides to unleash a big attack on Gabriel and the Archangels who are coming after him. Gabriel was sure he was not going to survive being hit by the attack that Kigyu was launching, and a lot of dark energy started being emitted by Kigyu along with the attack.
Gabriel thinks that he would be able to rally the Archangels against him using that energy as evidence, but he is even more shocked to see all the Archangels bowing before Kigyu after the dust settles. A white light appears behind Kigyu to indicate that he is someone like God.
