Adopted by business tycoon and owner of Hanwool Finacial Group, Han Yi Joo is the daughter of Han Ji Woong. Unlike her father, she decided to take on a more artistic career and became a painter.
Despite having a life of comfort, Yi Joo was not provided with much emotional love and attention, neither did her younger sister Han Yoo Ra try to give her love. As the adopted daughter, Yi Joo was considered the black sheep of the family and mostly sidelined in family issues.
After years, she had moved past most of these problems and married a man named Jung Se Hyeok. However, bad luck seems to follow Yi Joo as she finds out that her husband was in fact in love with her sister Yoo Ra.
After finding out, Han Yi went on a drive and because the surge of anger, was caught in an accident and died on the spot. But to her suprise, Yi Joo wakes up to the past, right at the time she was engaged to her present husband Se Hyeok.
Seeing this as her golden opportunity, Yi Joo decided to take her fate in her own hands and stopped her marriage as an act of revenge. Furthermore, she tries to get closer to Seo Do Guk, who her younger sister is in love with.
Do Guk was a goodlucking man and also the grandson of Taeja Group. As both found it beneficial for one another to marry, they decide to get together based on contract. However, Do Guk had other plans as he started falling in love with Yi Joo.
He wanted their fake marriage to become a real one where they both had feelings for one another. As the two of them deepen their bond, will it hinder Yi Joo’s plan of vengence or will it act as stepping stone to the success?
