Indie games will take the spotlight when Entalto Publishing returns with the second edition of its Out of Bounds Showcase on October 6, 2026. The Spanish publisher announced that the hybrid showcase will feature 16 indie games, including two previously unannounced projects alongside new trailers, demos, gameplay footage, and release information for established titles. The digital event will stream on YouTube at 4 p.m. CET / 7 a.m. PT, giving players around the world a chance to discover projects from independent studios.
The showcase will also have a physical component at SAGA BCN Game Fest in Barcelona from October 9 to 11. Visitors will be able to play 12 of the featured games at the event. Entalto says the initiative is designed to give lesser-known developers greater visibility while introducing new projects to an international audience.
Out of Bounds 2026 Will Reveal Two New Indie Games
The biggest announcements will include two games that have not yet been revealed. One is described as a combination of roguelike strategy, casual gameplay, and high-stakes gambling, while the other is an exploration-focused, narrative walking simulator featuring quiz elements.
Several previously announced games will also receive substantial updates. Goblinz Studio will show a new demo for Infamous Keepers, its tower defense roguelite, while Maboroshi Artworks will present a demo for Sombras: Negative Frames, a psychological horror adventure with a cinematic presentation. The latter is being developed by the creators of Last Time I Saw You.
Holy Radish will announce the official release date for Midgardr alongside a new trailer, while Crimson Birds Studio will showcase new gameplay from its cosmic horror deckbuilding RPG. Team Draftula will reveal a new gameplay trailer for Draftula, and Banana Blitz will provide a closer look at Void Reaver, which combines bullet-heaven action with inventory management.
The remaining lineup covers a wide range of genres. Forgotten Bastions will reveal a playtest trailer for dark fantasy creature-collector roguelite Fear Tall Grass, while Mango Leaf Games will showcase an updated demo for cleaning simulation Winter Whiskers. Rare Dialect will present roguelike minigame collection Fugue Shot, and Headkino Games will highlight the story-driven puzzle simulator Haunted Cleaner.
Frog Team will showcase psychological horror exploration game Oniria, while SolidNeon Games will present survival horror title PECADO. Contresort Studio will feature roguelite deckbuilder Stickerino, and Studio Scarmetal will share new details about turn-based RPG Wundertrench, which incorporates roguelike elements.
The 2026 showcase follows a successful first edition that was reportedly covered by more than 200 outlets across 30 countries. With 16 projects spanning horror, strategy, simulation, RPGs, roguelikes, and narrative adventures, Out of Bounds 2026 is positioned as a major discovery event for players looking beyond the biggest game releases. The digital showcase will take place on October 6 before 12 of its featured games become playable at SAGA BCN Game Fest in Barcelona.
