Episode 16 Recap
The episode opens with Bojji recalling a moment with his mother upon hearing King Desha mention Miranjo.
His memory reveals how Miranjo was responsible for his mother’s tragic demise, as well as her own eventual death. A mysterious figure was present when Miranjo lost her life, adding another layer of intrigue.
King Desha states that if no one interferes with his mission to eliminate Miranjo, King Bosse himself will stand in his way.
He then commands his men to return Gigan to the underworld. Although Bojji and Kage attempt to prevent them from taking Gigan, they are informed that the creature is a criminal.
It is then revealed that Gigan’s criminal past stemmed from his actions against King Desha, but his betrayal was driven by grief. He had witnessed Desha’s men torturing young Gigantes to lure out the larger monsters, which enraged him.
However, Desha, needing to maintain the morale of his troops during wartime, made regrettable choices. Despa, upon realizing the consequences of Desha’s actions, grew to despise his decisions.

Meanwhile, the captain—who appears to be Ouken—assures Desha that he can assemble an army that meets his expectations.
Back at the castle, Gigan attempts to fight Desha but is nearly struck by his powerful lightning attack. However, Bojji swiftly intervenes, using his sword to neutralize the attack, shocking both Desha and Domas. Bojji then asks Kage to explain his reason for protecting Gigan, making it clear that he does not want Desha to take him away.
Curious about Bojji’s newfound strength, King Desha contacts Prince Despa to inquire about the training he provided. Despa responds, asserting that neither Desha nor King Bosse would stand a chance against Bojji. When asked for his perspective on the situation, Despa suggests that Bojji should be the one to face Bosse.
If everything goes according to plan, they will be able to defeat Miranjo and eliminate the demon involved. Despa instructs Desha to leave the matter in his hands, along with the Captain’s, while Desha momentarily retreats. King Desha ultimately decides to take Gigan with him, announcing that Gigan will be inducted into the Order of the Underworld.
Despite acknowledging that his past actions cannot be undone, Desha chooses to take responsibility for Gigan. Before departing, Gigan declares that his heart belongs to Bojji and expresses his gratitude for his kindness.
With matters settled, King Desha and his forces return to the underworld. Following their departure, Domas approaches Bojji, seeking his forgiveness. However, Bojji, still deeply hurt and haunted by past events, finds himself unable to face him.
Meanwhile, Despa and the Captain attempt to determine their next course of action. Suddenly, Ouken recovers and breaks free, leaving Despa visibly shaken by how quickly he has regained his strength. The episode concludes with Ouken giving a menacing glare, foreshadowing further conflict.
