Oshi No Ko Chapter 145 reveals a lot about the mysterious character Tsukuyomi. She steps into the spotlight with her first role in the movie 15 Years of Lies.
But what’s even more significant is that fans learn about Tsukuyomi’s true identity and how she’s linked to Aqua and Ruby from their past lives as Sarina and Gorou.
In the last chapter, readers witnessed Tsukuyomi’s comeback after Ruby praised Melt for his portrayal of the doctor.
This hinted that Tsukuyomi might be gearing up for her acting debut. Chapter 145, titled Children, confirmed this as Tsukuyomi finally made her debut in the movie 15 Years of Lies.
Notably, she was set to play the childhood versions of both Aqua and Ruby. Ruby wasn’t too thrilled with Tsukuyomi’s portrayal of her younger self.
She felt Tsukuyomi made her character seem less mature than she remembered being. However, during a scene where Tsukuyomi and Ruby were acting together as young Ruby and Ai, something intriguing happened.
Ruby lifted Tsukuyomi, and suddenly she had a vision from her past. This hinted at a connection between Tsukuyomi and the twins’ previous lives.
When Tsukuyomi took on the role of Aqua, everyone, including Kana, felt she was playing it too cute. They remembered Aqua as being mature and talented in his childhood.
But things shifted when Kana and Ruby began to adore Tsukuyomi because she reminded them so much of young Aqua. As Aqua joined them, the manga revealed Tsukuyomi’s backstory and her connection to the twins.
Tsukuyomi’s Significance in the Twins Past Lives?
In Aqua and Ruby’s previous lives, they were known as Gorou and Sarina. Interestingly, Tsukuyomi used to be a crow.
When Sarina was undergoing treatment in the hospital, she stumbled upon an injured crow. She sought help from Doctor Gorou Amamiya, despite him not having any veterinary training.
Gorou assisted in treating the bird, and together they nursed it back to health. After the crow regained its strength, Gorou and Sarina released it into the wild.
However, the crow kept returning to Sarina’s bedside in the hospital. This continued until Sarina succumbed to her illness.
Later on in the manga, the story returned to the present. Tsukuyomi was shown reflecting on the twins, Aqua and Ruby, recalling how she might have depicted them too childishly.
Throughout their lives, Tsukuyomi had always viewed them as adorable children. This also implied that Tsukuyomi had been observing Aqua and Ruby since their birth, fully aware of their past identities.
Many fans had various theories about Tsukuyomi’s identity and her connection to the twins. However, it turned out that her relationship with Ruby and Aqua was genuinely heartwarming. She continued to perceive them as children, cherishing their growth as she watched over them.
