ONEST is a new 5th-generation project Girl group making its way into Global K-pop. The popularity of K-pop is spreading at a rapid pace. Almost everyone dreams of becoming a K-pop idol, and for that, training begins at a very young age in South Korea. Even the South Korean education systems have music departments these days to create talented idols from schools or colleges.
ONEST is one of the examples of a group that debuted from university while graduating. This girl group consists of a total of nine members Seunga, Nabi, Yu1L, Dayun, Sara K, Je Hwanhee, Kim Tae-hee, Kim Yejin, and Nahyun.
ONEST, originally known as 온에스투 is a Korean Girl Group formed by the K-pop department of Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts. The final lineup of the group was formed by competition of DIMA K-POP SHOWCASE 2022, held on January 5, 2023. DIMA K-POP SHOWCASE formed a K-pop before, also called D-art.

Seunga
Her full name is Han Seunga. Her zodiac sign is Pisces. She joined the art and music department with an interest in music. She took instrument classes, too in high school. Her hobby is playing the piano.

She moved back to South Korea in 2017 to be a K-pop idol. Her stage name is GumNabi, 검나비 means “A sword of no colour. A butterfly is flying freely.”

YU1L
YU1L is the third member of Onest. Her birth name is Kim Hyun-sook. She was born on May 4, 1999. Her stage name Yu1L means a youth underneath one Luminous. She was a former of the group D-art, which was formed by DIMA K-Pop Season 1.
She was quite popular before debuting for posting vocal and dance covers on Youtube. She is a songwriter too. For the group’s debut song called Cinderella, her fellow D-mart member Hwanhee helped her with writing, composing, and producing. She on March 21, 2021, debuted as a soloist with a mini album 유일한 계절. She later was featured in the single 배꼽이 간지러워 by 달언니와 말랑씨 (DallMallC), released in July 2021.

Kim Taehee 김태희, before joining Onest, debuted as a soloist with the single Get Up on December 27, 2021, with the stage name CHILL. Taehee is a member of the university’s Wings Green Country Club. One of her hobbies is coloring in coloring books too. She is the mood-maker of the group. Taehee is known for her sexy charms. A character that resembles her is Onei Jinushi from Gokyoudai Monogatari.

Kim Yejin
Kim Yejin (김예진), born in 1999, is the second last member of the Onest. She is the main dancer of the group. She likes choreographies and even choreographed a few D-arts like Cinderella and Ye1ls solo Poppin Lemonade. She is a member of the Dance drew D.K. Crew. She is also a dance instructor in Ifland and Zling.

ONEST Debut and Songs
ONEST made its debut as a group of nine on January 27, 2023, with a digital single, “Wisp.” The group was formed when the members were graduating, and after their first comeback, the members were at the end of the graduation. It is assumed that all the members are graduated by now and went their own way.
