One-Punch Man 2nd Season Reveals Cast And Staff

One Punch Man fans have been waiting for the second season of the anime for a very long time now, and their wait is about to end. The website of the anime released some more information about the cast of the anime. The latest person to join the cast is Masaya Matsukaze as Suiryū. Suiryu is the four-time champion of the Super Fight tournament.

The opening theme song of the anime will be performed by JAM Project. The opening song is titled “Seijaku no Apostle.” It has also been confirmed that later this year Makoto Furukawa (Saitama) and Kaito Ishikawa (Genos) will appear at a special stage event on March 23.

The anime is going to premiere in April and it will air on TV Tokyo and it is going to stream in Japan Niconico. Here are the main cast members for the second season:

The anime is being directed by Chikara Sakurai (Magimoji Rurumo, episode director for Naruto Shippūden). He replaces Shingo Natsume to direct the season at J.C. Staff (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Children of the Whales). The first season was animated by Madhouse. Yoshikazu Iwanami (Girls und Panzer, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is the sound director. The character designs will be done by Chikashi Kubota (Corpse Princess: Aka, FLCL 2). Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) is in charge of series composition.
