Kuma’s back story continued in the latest chapter but it seemed like it was more than just the character’s back story as the incident was related to the infamous god valley incident where Garp became the hero by taking the side of Roger’s pirates and defeating the Rocks Pirates supposedly.
But the latest chapter saw that the truth was far from it as there was something really bad going on there. It was filled with various information but most of it had to do with how Kuma had gotten his devil fruit and also the reason why he ate one.
Small Ivankok and Ginny, who fans are anticipating to be Bonney’s mother, surely had a lot of help in getting Kuma and all the other slaves from this region to get out of the sick game played by the Marines. The chapter continued with Kuma’s backstory and the rest of the chapter saw the god valley incident and nothing more. Since the slaves and captives of the God Valley island were deemed as points to be hunted, the Knights of the Gods were the main hunters for them.

We saw some additional knights of the Gods as they were also participating in this hunting. What will follow in the rest of the chapter is basically thanks to Ginny leaking the prizes that were stacked on the island which were the devil fruits that we have already seen in action, the paw-paw fruit, and the Kaido’s dragon fruit.
After the information was leaked the island was swarmed by pirates including the infamous Rocks pirates consisting of amazing figures such as Whitebeark, Bigmom, Kaido, and many more, and the Roger pirates.
Thanks to the destruction caused by their arrival, Kuma and the others got their hands on the devil fruits and before they could eat it, Big Mom got hold of Ivakok and got the dragon fruit while Kuma ate the food and with this fruit, he helped the slaves get out of the area while the pirates and marines were at each other’s throat.
The chapter then saw Ivanko, Kuma, and Ginnye settling on the Sobert Kingdom but soon Ivankok leaves for the sea and Ginny and Kuma stay behind working hard and trying to live a normal life.
One Piece Chapter 1097 Expectations
This chapter will surely add more context to the backstory of Kuma and might conclude this story for good. We will surely know whether Ginny is Bonney’s mother or not and with this chapter, Kuma’s back story might be concluded after all and the narrative might head back to Egghead Island which is supposedly going to have an incident that will know throughout the world.
Thus, we are hoping to see the narrative on Egghead Island finally taking place and Blackbeard might finally get to the island.
