Dokja died in the previous chapters, but like always, he has returned as a black panther, saying, “As you can see, I’m not dead.” With the entirety of Seoul crying over the brave sacrifice of Kim Dokja, Dokja himself watches over them with eagerness and feels touched. So far, 48 hours have passed since Dokja’s death, and only 24 hours remain since he finally resurrects.
The eight heads of Yamata no Orochi each carry one skill inside them, and the skill Dokja has gotten is popularity which makes it obvious why he is getting so much attention. With Dokja confirmed to be alive, we will now witness the legendary Constellation Banquet, where Dokja will come face to face with all the constellations.
So all the readers, hold your breaths and be prepared, or you might not be able to withstand the mental strain put on by the constellations in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 166!
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 165: Recap
The entirety of Seoul weeps over the loss of Kim Dokja as they all believe that he’s dead, especially Dokja’s teammates Hyunsung, Huiwon, Gilyeong, Jihye, and Yoosung.
The King Of Beauty, Min Jiwon, states that Dokja was the strongest in Seoul, hinting that he died to save everyone from the special event. Meanwhile, Dokja looks at everyone from 3rd personal perspective, thinking that they will now have to live in a world without him.
Dokja wonders if this was written in TWSA because if it was, then he would already be aware of it. He also feels a bit touched by seeing everyone crying over him.
Dokja feels glad that he can see this event with his own eyes using the 3rd personal perspective, but he still feels that it would have been better with the first-person perspective, which he can’t use currently because of being too absorbed with Junghyook.
Dokja thinks that it would be great if he could instantly wake up from the coffin, but he can’t do so because of the 72 hours cooldown on the eight lives skill. There’s still one day left till Dokja’s resurrection, and the next scenario is going to begin soon.
Suddenly someone shouts, “The Ugly King,” which is the title the Dokkaebi gave to Dokja. Dokja finally shifts to a first-person perspective and gets taken to Junghyook saving Yoo Sangah (she was caught by Nirvana in previous chapters).
Sangah asks Junghyook about Dokja, and he replies that Dokja is dead, but he knows that he will come back alive. Sangah asks Junghyook how this is possible, and he says that he doesn’t know, but there’s no way Dokja would just die like that.
Junghyook clenches his fist while saying this, and it scares Dokja. Junghyook asks Sangah about Dokja’s mom, but before Sangah can reply, the Omniscient reader’s viewpoint stage 3 gets deactivated due to excessive mental load.
Dokja drifts into space and keeps asking himself random questions to maintain his sanity, and he still wonders what the secret of the fourth wall is talking about. Suddenly many messages from different Constellations related to resurrection start popping up around Dokja.
Dokja immediately figures out that they all want to paint his resurrection with their mythology. Dokja thinks about their offer while all the constellations argue with each other.
Suddenly Queen of the Darkest Spring enters the argument and tells everyone to resolve it by inviting Dokja to the constellation banquet, and everyone readily agrees. A Dokkaebi arrives and gives Dokja a suit. He then leaves after telling him to wait for an envoy.
A special scenario pops up for the constellation banquet, according to which Dokja has to escape before 24 hours or he’ll be disposed of. Suddenly the golden chariot arrives to take Dokja, and a true voice tells him to get on.
