Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Download update brings a wide range of games and seasonal activities to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch players. Major highlights include pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the arrival of Bluey’s Happy Snaps and It Takes Two, and three Resident Evil games launching digitally on October 16.
The weekly update also expands the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library with three Game Boy Advance titles: Monster Rancher Advance, METAL SLUG ADVANCE, and Kururin Paradise. Meanwhile, Nintendo Music subscribers can listen to the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Halloween-themed content features prominently this week, with Pokémon Pokopia preparing its Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises event from October 17 through November 1. Nintendo has also added hundreds of exclusive merchandise items to its online store, alongside a broad selection of new eShop releases scheduled throughout October.
CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 4 AND RESIDENT EVIL LEAD THE WEEK’S HIGHLIGHTS

Digital pre-orders include Campaign Early Access from October 16 and DMZ Early Access from October 20. The game features a South Korean military squad, Captain Price’s personal mission, online multiplayer, and extraction-based DMZ gameplay.
Three Resident Evil releases also arrive on October 16 for Nintendo Switch 2: Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition. Pre-orders include a limited-time early-adopter discount available through November 7.

Other featured releases include Bluey’s Happy Snaps, a photography adventure starring Bluey and Bingo, and It Takes Two, the cooperative adventure about Cody and May, a couple transformed into dolls. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is also available on Nintendo Switch, following Trevor Belmont and his daughter Rose as they battle monsters in burning medieval Paris.
THREE GAME BOY ADVANCE CLASSICS JOIN NINTENDO SWITCH ONLINE

The third addition, Kururin Paradise, challenges players to guide the helicopter Helirin through obstacle-filled courses. It includes Adventure, Practice, and Challenge modes, plus 16 minigames.
Nintendo Music has also added the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Featured tracks include “Clock Tower,” “Termina Field,” and “To the Moon,” accompanying Link’s three-day mission to prevent the moon from crashing into Termina.
