Nintendo has rolled out another packed Nintendo Download, headlined by the launch of Star Fox on Nintendo Switch 2, the arrival of DELTARUNE Chapter 5, and the debut of Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition on the new console. Alongside these major releases, players can also look forward to new Nintendo Music playlists, limited-time in-game events, a major Summer Sale, and dozens of fresh additions to the Nintendo eShop.

This week’s Nintendo Download offers something for nearly every type of player, whether they’re looking for a brand-new action title, revisiting classic Nintendo soundtracks, or taking advantage of discounted digital games. Nintendo also continues expanding the Nintendo Switch 2 library while supporting the original Nintendo Switch with a long list of new releases.

Here’s everything included in this week’s Nintendo Download.

Star Fox Leads This Week’s Nintendo Switch 2 Releases

The biggest release this week is Star Fox, which reimagines the classic Star Fox 64 experience for Nintendo Switch 2. The game introduces redesigned characters, upgraded stage visuals, cinematic cutscenes, full voice acting, and an orchestral soundtrack while preserving the fast-paced space combat that made the original so memorable.

Players will once again join Fox McCloud and the Star Fox team on a mission to protect the Lylat System, but this version also introduces additional gameplay modes, including online multiplayer support. Those curious about the game before purchasing can also download a free demo from the Nintendo eShop.

The launch represents one of Nintendo Switch 2’s biggest first-party releases so far and serves as the centerpiece of this week’s Nintendo Download.

DELTARUNE Chapter 5 Arrives as a Free Update

Fans of Toby Fox’s acclaimed RPG series have another reason to celebrate with the release of DELTARUNE Chapter 5. Available today as a free update for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, the new chapter continues the parallel story that began alongside UNDERTALE’s universe.

The latest chapter introduces new locations, characters, battles, and story developments while retaining the series’ signature blend of humor, emotional storytelling, and player-driven combat choices. As in previous chapters, players can choose whether to fight enemies or spare them, with those decisions influencing the experience.

Because the update is free for existing DELTARUNE owners, players can jump into the newest adventure immediately.

Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition Joins Nintendo Switch 2

Another major addition this week is Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition, which officially launches on Nintendo Switch 2.

Capcom’s stylish action title includes previously released downloadable content and features Vergil as a playable character alongside Dante, Nero, and V. Nintendo says the game runs at 60 frames per second in both TV and handheld modes, giving Switch 2 owners access to the franchise’s signature fast-paced combat with enhanced visual performance.

The release further expands the growing lineup of high-profile third-party games available on Nintendo’s latest console.
