One of the biggest attractions at Nintendo’s booth will be Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the next installment in the Nintendo Switch Sports series that launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. PT each day inside The Pointe at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, visitors will be able to test four of the game’s twelve motion-controlled sports. Nintendo confirmed that gameplay sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Outside on The Promenade, fans can also watch live gameplay broadcasts while participating in interactive sports-themed activities organized by Nintendo staff.

Nintendo will also celebrate the launch of Splatoon Raiders, allowing Comic-Con attendees to play the new action-adventure shooter at the company’s booth in Hall A (#235).

According to Nintendo, players will battle Salmonid enemies while exploring the Spirhalite Islands alongside Deep Cut, choosing between different tank types that emphasize power, speed, or tactical gameplay.

In its official announcement, Nintendo said attendees will be able to “move, explore colorful worlds, and have fun playing together,” highlighting the company’s focus on cooperative and family-friendly experiences during the event.

Fans can challenge The Rizzler in live competition

Another highlight of Nintendo’s Comic-Con schedule will take place on July 23, when visitors who have already played Nintendo Switch Sports Resort can enter for a chance to compete against social media personality The Rizzler.

The competition will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT at The Promenade outside the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel. Participants will be selected randomly by Nintendo event staff, and the company has confirmed that no prizes will be awarded during the exhibition matches.

Nintendo will also add to the celebration with a Splatoon Raiders-themed trolley traveling around downtown San Diego, giving fans another way to experience the game’s launch weekend festivities.

With hands-on demos, community events, and early access to major upcoming titles, Nintendo is positioning its San Diego Comic-Con 2026 presence as one of the company’s biggest public showcases of the year.
