Han So Hee has playfully expressed her disappointment after being noticeably absent from a series of cast photos shared by her The Intern co-star Ryu Hye Young.
The actress’ brief comment quickly caught attention as fans reacted to the friendly exchange between the two stars.
On October 1, Ryu Hye Young uploaded several photos on social media featuring moments from the set of The Intern.
In the pictures, she could be seen wearing an employee ID badge bearing the name “Choi Min Ah,” while other photos featured fellow cast members Choi Min Sik and Kim Jun Han.
However, one important member of the movie’s main cast was missing from the photos: Han So Hee.
Han So Hee noticed the omission and directly commented on Ryu Hye Young’s post, writing,
“Why am I not there.”
Her short message appeared to carry a playful hint of disappointment over being left out of the collection.
Ryu Hye Young Promises More Photos With Han So Hee
Fans quickly joined the conversation, expressing their own disappointment that Han So Hee did not appear in the photos.
One fan asked Ryu Hye Young to share more pictures of the two actresses together, writing that it was a shame Han So Hee was missing and requesting “20 photos” of the pair.
Ryu Hye Young responded warmly to the request, promising,
“Let’s pick a day to shoot again.”
Her response suggested that fans may eventually get another set of photos featuring the two actresses together.
The exchange also highlighted the friendship that developed between Han So Hee and Ryu Hye Young while working together on The Intern.
The two actresses have reportedly remained close, with their friendship extending beyond their time on the film set.
The Intern is the Korean remake of the 2015 Hollywood film of the same name.
Directed by Kim Do Young, the movie stars Choi Min Sik, Han So Hee, Kim Jun Han, and Ryu Hye Young. The film was released in Korean theaters on September 16.
Han So Hee and Ryu Hye Young’s Friendship Gets Fans Talking
The playful interaction comes after the actresses worked together on The Intern, where Han So Hee plays Sun Woo, a successful fashion startup CEO, while Choi Min Sik portrays Ki Ho, a retired publishing-industry veteran who joins her company as a senior intern.
Han So Hee previously described being cast alongside Choi Min Sik as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and said she gave the project everything she had.
Meanwhile, her latest exchange with Ryu Hye Young offered fans a lighter glimpse into the relationships formed behind the scenes.
Rather than being a serious complaint, Han So Hee’s brief question appeared to be a playful way of pointing out her absence.
Ryu Hye Young’s promise to arrange another photo session has also left fans hoping that the two actresses will soon share more moments together.
For now, their friendly social-media exchange has become another small but memorable moment surrounding The Intern.
