Format of the Next Level Chef
The second season of Next Level Chef revives the three-level cooking stage, with supplies and challenges appropriate for each phase and a group of coach chefs keeping an eye on a talented mix of home cooks, line cooks, street food entrepreneurs, and social media stars. Competitors are pushed to make do with what they are given, from the great top level to the cellar of the bottom level, in the hopes of rising to the top level.

Who will be on the judge’s panel?
Gordon Ramsay
The show’s host, teacher, and one of its executive producers is Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay is one of the world’s most well-known and recognizable top chefs, well known for his smash television series Hell’s Kitchen. Competitors dread him for his signature direct outbursts, yet beyond the tough demeanor lies a genuinely lovely man who devotes a lot of time and energy to the culinary community.
Nyesha Arrington
Before she appeared on Top Chef & Chef Hunter in late 2011, Nyesha Arrington was already well-known for her cooking. From 2011 to 2013, Arrington served as the Executive Chef at the famous Wilshire Restaurant and was recognized by Brad Johnson as a Breakout Star.
Richard Blais
Richard Blais gained popularity by participating in Top Chef, where he placed second in season 4 and won Top Chef: All-Stars. He frequently appears as a guest judge on different Food Network shows. Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Ferran Adrià all trained Blais. He owns and manages The Crack Shack & Ivy and Four Flamingos.
