Nexon has released the latest enforcement report for The First Descendant, detailing disciplinary actions taken against players who violated the game’s operational policies between July 24 and July 30, 2026.

The crackdown targeted multiple forms of abusive behavior, including cheat software, payment fraud, suspicious trading, and disruptive gameplay.

Permanent bans issued for cheating and payment exploitation

According to the official announcement, five players received permanent bans for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. Nexon also permanently banned seven additional accounts for exploiting the game’s Open Store payment process to obtain unfair advantages.

The developer further confirmed that one player received a seven-day trading restriction after abnormal transaction records were detected.

The largest enforcement category involved unusual gameplay activity. Nexon confirmed that 285 players were issued three-day separate matchmaking penalties after monitoring systems detected suspicious behavior that violated the game’s operational policy.

In the notice, Nexon said it continues to investigate reports submitted through the in-game reporting system alongside its own monitoring tools. The company encouraged players to report suspicious behavior to help maintain a fair environment for the community.

The developer also noted that players who believe they were wrongly penalized for payment-related violations can appeal through the game’s customer support channels or contact their platform’s payment provider when appropriate.

Nexon concluded the announcement by reaffirming its commitment to fair play, stating that it “will continue to strive to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment.”
