Follow the journey of Will Serfort in “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” as he pursues his dream of becoming a Magia Vander, despite his struggles with magic. The upcoming TV anime adaptation has recently released an exciting new trailer, introduced additional cast members, and disclosed details about the official theme song performers.
Set to premiere on July 7, 2024, “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” will air on the Tokyo Broadcasting System network in Japan and stream globally on Crunchyroll as part of its summer 2024 anime simulcast lineup.
Joining the cast are several new characters, including Iris X. Stellamaris, Gordon Valley, Lileel Mars, Lunais Allet, Jorua Moraine, Cauldron, Cariot Instia Wiseman, Zeo Torzeus Reinbolt, Elnor Ljos Alf, Aaron Masterius Oldking, and Logwell.
The original manga, penned by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi, is serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.
Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and produced by animation studios Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures, the anime features character designs by Sayaka Ono and music composed by Yuki Hayashi. The opening theme, titled “Fire and Fear,” is performed by PENGUIN RESEARCH, while the ending theme, “Frozen,” is sung by TRUE.
