Netflix announced two more cast members for the second season of its live-action One Piece adaptation, based on Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga.
Joe Manganiello will play Mr. 0, also known as Crocodile, while Lera Abova will portray Miss All Sunday, also known as Nico Robin.
Along with this casting news, Netflix shared a behind-the-scenes set tour video to give fans a glimpse of the production.
The second season will cover the storylines up to the Drum Island arc, which includes important arcs like Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Twin Cape, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.
Several new characters will be introduced in these arcs, and Netflix had previously announced other cast members, including Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, also known as Nefertari Vivi.
In addition to these cast members, Netflix confirmed that Katey Sagal will play Dr. Kureha, and other key roles have been filled with actors like Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Rob Colletti as Wapol, and Ty Keogh as Dalton.
Notable supporting characters like Mr. 3, Mr. 5, and Crocus have also been cast, with actors such as David Dastmalchian, Camrus Johnson, and Clive Russell taking on these roles.
The show continues to build its ensemble for the anticipated second season. The production team for season two is also evolving, with Joe Tracz, known for his work on Percy Jackson and the Olympians, joining as a writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner alongside Matt Owens, who worked on the first season.
Filming for the new season has already started, and while no exact release date has been confirmed, sources indicate that fans can expect it to arrive in 2025.
