In the wake of Ryan Seacrest being named as Pat Sajak’s successor for “Wheel of Fortune,” Vanna White, the longtime letter-turner, has reportedly hired a prominent lawyer, Bryan Freedman. The move comes as White seeks negotiations for her contract for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
Puck News reports that White, who has been earning approximately $3 million per year since 2005, has not received a pay raise in 18 years, only bonuses. The details about whether White, aged 66, will join Seacrest, aged 48, on the revamped program are yet to be revealed.
The 76-year-old Sajak reportedly earned $15 million annually during his time in the show. The reports were released by Forbes in 2016. According to the news, her contract is set to end at the end of the 2023-2024 season, and she is now aiming to secure a significant salary increase if she decides to continue her role on the show.
Bryan Freedman, a famous personality known for representing many Hollywood celebrities in disputes with TV networks, including the “Jeopardy!” host Mike Richards and Don Lemon, after he departs from CNN, has been retained by White.
