We saw Elder Hwan preparing for an attack in Nano Machine Chapter 180. The barriers were all activated at once. This presence was surely of the Demon Lord, and Elder Hwan knew it. It would have been better if he had come from the other gate’s direction.
There were about four hundred more meters of flat ground in between the forest and the fortress walls, and Elder Hwan had no idea what the Demon Lord was trying to do. He would now have no choice but to show himself once the forest was at its end.
