Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2: Summary
Since the first season, people have been dying to see Dana and Rachel together. Their hot on-screen chemistry was burning everyone until finally, they kissed this season and expressed their true feelings for each other. Poppy, on the other hand, is having sex dreams about Ian while Ian leaves Poppy during his sabbatical to work on the new expansion’s name and design.
Our new couples struggle hard to share their relationship status with the rest of them. Poppy is having other struggles in their life. She finds it hard to find her inspiration to work, so Ian being a gentleman, helps her by encouraging her to speak at the Women in Gaming conference.
Brad interprets Zack, Brad’s brother’s visit to the office, as a sign that he will attempt to disintegrate the business. Due to Battle Royale’s success, corporate headquarters gift Poppy a Porsche. Since Ian is unable to drive a stick, Rachel drives Poppy’s car back to the office. Rachel is guided by Ian to choose her true career path at the company.
Poppy, who’s having her internal battles, ends up arguing with Ian, and Ian gets really frustrated by Poppy’s dismissive habit. He wants her to open up to him, but in the heat of the moment, he ends up saying that Poppy is using him for her success as she can’t reach her. C.W. goes to Peter’s house with Rachel, a former colleague who married Anne, the woman C.W. fell in love with more than 40 years ago.
Ginny, Peter’s daughter, secretly arranges the meeting because Peter is dying and wants to see if they can work things out and become friends again. Ian suffers what appears to be a heart attack when he presents his portion of the expansion.
Although Poppy’s expansion is well received, it later turns out to be impossible to put into action. Jo is duped into purchasing company shares by Zack when Brad warns her that she could be arrested for insider trading.
Rachel and Dana, on impulse, give their resignation to the company but instantly regret it. Dana doesn’t get into Berkeley and begs for her job back, but Ian and Poppy tell her to get into programming school instead, and they are ready to pay for her tuition.
Ian and Poppy quit Mythic Quest and start a new business after realizing they can’t go any further. To boost his “street cred,” Brad wants the Federal Bureau of Investigation to arrest him for insider trading.
