“My Name” is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling and eventful drama series in the K-Drama world. It is thrilling, entertaining, and will surely give anyone goosebumps. Well Curated Action Scenes
The action scenes in the drama series “My Name” left everyone stunned and thrilled. They looked strongly impressive in all the ways, and that made the entire K-Drama a worth watching for everyone out there. Numerous hard punches and the ensemble cast falling in the blink of an eye made everything look super fantastic. All the credits for the same go to the martial arts director of the drama series, who made everything look severe on-screen and painless off-screen.
Each action scene of “My Name” is praiseworthy in every way. The tough training that Ji-woo has to go through to become Dongcheon’s newest recruit made everything ten times more fascinating.
Furthermore, the stunning performance of both team cops’ and the blood-hungry gangsters in each episode of the show made the plot more intriguing. Every cut, wound, and bruise could be felt by the viewers out there, and if that isn’t impressive, then we don’t know what is.
Moreover, the portrayal of Ji-woo as a tough woman who can smash neck through the walls with knives and pistols makes her look bolder than any male opponent out there.

Han So Hee Portrayed as “The Woman”
Unlike most of the K-Dramas, here Ji-woo is her own savior and hero. Joining the drug organization to prove her ability to pursue retaliation, she was assigned to washing. After that, she was personally trained by Moo-jin, and that made her an icon in all the fundamental skills needed to tackle any kind of danger.
Keeping everything instruction in mind and every piece of advice on her fists, Ji-woo won her first bout by defeating all of her opponents in the drug ring. When Do Kangjae couldn’t accept the fact that he had been brutally defeated by a girl in the drug ring, he decided to go another way around and spike her drink. Though, his efforts went in vain after Ji-woo, despite her clouded vision, stayed awake by utilizing the broken pieces of her father’s cremation urn.
Her strong and independent aura was proved again when she was forcefully assigned by Pildo to enter alone and catch the head of the new drug ring and also locate its dangerous leader. Though this didn’t demotivate Ji-woo in any way, she successfully crushed down everyone who even dared to block her way.
And, when Ji-woo reaps her vengeance on Moo-jin for deciding her and murdering her father, it all comes in a full circle. The scene is enough to give everyone chills out there.
Jaw-Dropping Plot Twists
The drama series is packed with a series of jaw-dropping plot twists that are enough to leave everyone stunned and speechless. Ji-woo’s father, Donghoon, was rumored to join Choi Moo-jin’s drug organization as an undercover police officer assigned on the mission by Cha Ki Ho to catch Moo-jin’s drug deals red-handed.
This revelation is done after Ji-woo receives a letter from Cha. He wrote it in case he won’t be able to make it through the mission which came true.
Though, even after knowing the truth, Ji-woo’s thirst for vengeance knew no limits. She was duped by Choi Moo-jin and was blinded by the lie that a police officer murdered her father. A series of truths open as the story progresses, and it is discovered that Donghoon was an undercover police officer until his death.

My Name: Everything About the Plot
Being dipped head to toe in grief and vengeance, Yoon Ji-woo threw away her entire identity and future in order to kill the murderer of her father after witnessing him getting brutally killed on her birthday.
At the funeral, she learned that his father worked for Choi Moo-jin. This information makes her approach Moo-jin and asks for his help in order to identify the killer of her father. At first, she is refused by Moo-jin, who asserts the fact that for seeking revenge, one must first know how to kill.
Though after learning about her situation and whereabouts, Moo-jin gave in and decided to recruit her into the drug organization and help her out in getting her revenge.
She is also informed by him that a police officer killed her father. In order to prove her loyalty to Moo-jin, she disguises herself as a police officer under a pseudo named Oh Hye Jin. Working under the narcotics department, Hye Jin is assigned with Jeon Pildo and squad commander Cha Ki Ho. Assigned with a trap investigation, Ji-woo finds a way to make it appealing for Moo-jin.
However, things begin to go south when Cha Ki Ho starts to suspect Hye Jin and her decision to join their team. As much critical information starts to leak out of the department, it becomes severely difficult to capture evidence regarding the drug deals and capture Moo-jin. When he asks about Ji-woo’s reasons for joining the team, she says that she wanted to capture someone.
My Name: The Iconic Cast & Other Details
Directed and written by Kim Jin Min and Kim Ba Da, respectively, “My Name” is a very impressive and must-watch K-Drama of the year 2021.
Portraying the genres of action, thriller, mystery, and crime, the drama series has got everyone smitten over it. It has a total of eight episodes, and each of them has a running duration of 50 minutes. Moreover, all the episodes of the drama series were released on October 15, 2021, on the streaming giant, i.e., Netflix.
The OST, “My Name” of the drama series, was sung by Hwang Sang Jun, Swervy, and JEMINN.
The drama series starred Han So Hee as Yoon Ji Woo, Park Hee Soon as Choi Moo Jin, Ahn Bo Hyun as Jeon Pildo, Lee Hak Joo as Jung Tae Joo, Kim Sang Ho as Cha Gi Ho, and Chang Ryul as Do Gang Jae. All of them did a fabulous job of making their character lively and real throughout the drama series.
