The young hero Rudd Denatos, master of the piercing technique, steps up and takes credit for defeating a thousand dragons single-handedly. This claim is met with doubt.
Nevertheless, the Emperor appoints Rudd as the lead organizer of the lightning dragon subjugation team. Despite strong opposition from neighboring countries, Rudd refuses to back down.
In an unprecedented power move, Rudd not only officially acknowledges the seven-sealed dragons but also begins processes to unseal and take control of them.

Leon tauntingly recalls how Rude nearly met his demise that day when they all struggled to fend off even the weak enemies. He mocks Zenith as pathetic for tiring after a single large fireball attack.
Zenith thanks Leon for saving her life, which enabled her to find the curse needed to rescue her sister. She feels eternally grateful yet unable to repay the debt.
