The manager adds to the conversation and informs Joo-ah how several incidents from the past have made Binu lose his will to act and get to normal life and thus he has been avoiding any encounters with the TV personnel and has given up on acting.
The manager leaves saying that he had paid her hospital bills and surprisingly finds Binu at the bookstore and informs her about Joo-ah and the current situation. Upon hearing all of this, Binu feels guilty.
