The chapter opens up with Lalisa collapsing on the banquet hall floor, which sends everyone into a panic. Sasha quickly makes her way towards Lalisa to check up on her. She asks Ivan to tell her what happened, but Ivan replies that he does not know anything because it all happened so suddenly. Sasha checks Lalisa’s pulse and finds that her mana has started to weaken.
Sasha inquires about the things Lalisa has eaten up til now, and the servants tell her that she only ate the Carto present in the hall. Sasha thinks that Lalisa couldn’t have been affected by the food because she made sure there were no allergenic ingredients in it. Suddenly, Sasha notices some strange black balls near Lalisa, so she inspects them.
Sasha smells the balls and finds that it’s the Paru fruit. Sasha immediately thinks of a cure, and so she asks Ivan to bring her red leather bag as soon as possible. She then asks Pavel to assist her. Pavel wonders why Sasha would ask for his help because he doesn’t know anything about this stuff. He decides to help her anyway because, well, “Sasha needs him.”
Sasha explains that Lalisa has taken a pill made from the Paru fruit, which has a disrupting nature. This means that individuals with little to no mana can even die due to this. Pavel understands what Sasha is trying to tell her, and so he holds Lalisa’s hand and begins supplying her with mana. As soon as the mana transfer begins, Duke Balmaseva arrives at the scene to check up on his wife. He gets furious after seeing his wife in such a state, and so he asks Sasha what she’s trying to do with her.
Pavel says that Sasha is just trying to help, and because no one else has volunteered to help, this is the best-case scenario for Duke Balmaseva. Duke Balmaseva goes speechless as he realizes he has no other choice. After a while, Ivan comes rushing into the room with Sasha’s bag, and so Sasha asks Pavel to leave things to her now.
Sasha prepares first aid and administers it to Lalisa while everyone watches from a distance. They all think that Sasha resembles a certain someone which Pavel already thought about. Some time passes by after the event, and Lalisa finally wakes up. Lalisa’s mother worries about her health, but she says that she’s fine, and even the doctor states that she will make a full recovery soon.
Duke Balmaseva bows down in front of Sasha and asks for her forgiveness. He says that he heard everything from his daughter, and so, as her parent, he should be the one being punished for her faults. Sasha ignores Balmaseva’s words and just asks him if Lalisa is doing okay.
Balmaseva realizes that Sasha is going to let this slide, so he asks her if she wants anything else. Sasha smiles and says that she just needs the Balamseva Family’s continuous and unwavering love and support.
