‘My Liberation Notes’ Episode 2 Preview
The story in the very first Episode of My Liberation Notes gives a glimpse of Yeom Mi Jung and her colleagues during an office meal, where they flaunt and talk about the ‘fun’ in their lives. Amidst their blabbering, you catch Yeom Mi Jung becoming uneasy since she has never been to any of these clubs, throwing away money and experiencing so-called fun. Although, to stop her colleagues from poking, she did say she isn’t interested in them, but we all know that’s not the case truly, right?
Further, as the show proceeds, we get to see the miserable life of our middle sibling as well. He is shown to have been dumped by his girlfriend. And that, too, when he was trying to make his girlfriend confess to cheating on him instead, ended up getting roasted by her. Is it so bad to be a little old school? It looks like not everyone enjoys a little slow and settled relationship. Some people wish to have relationships just to showing-off. But still, isn’t it too early for us to blame the girl? Because the more the Episode proceeded, the more it felt like he really was a loser.
Coming to our whiner eldest sibling, she was seen cluelessly badmouthing about a guy she had been set up with, not knowing he was just sitting beside her in the restaurant. To be fair, she did have a point, for she didn’t want to be with a guy who has a kid but then again, there is always the choice of choosing the right words, isn’t it?
But the one thing that we could see in common with the three siblings is everybody testing their patience since they live so far away. How they have been enduring it all their life and still standing firm with living in their village is quite remarkable.
In addition to this, we also got to see our mysterious man, Mr. Gu, as part of all the Yeom family meals. For now, we just know that he is the carpenter the family hired. My Liberation Notes Episode 2 will be released on 10th April, 2022. The series will follow the usual K-drama trend of 16 episodes, and each Episode will last 60 minutes. Every Saturday and Sunday, new episodes are aired. So, mark in your calenders to dive in with the journey of these protagonists finding a ray of light amidst all darkness.
