My Hero Academia: You’re Next has swiftly become a significant hit at the box office, attracting over 1.22 million viewers and generating 1.77 billion yen in just 11 days since its release.
To mark this milestone, the film’s creators are rewarding fans with a new round of promotional gifts. Starting August 17, the first 500,000 moviegoers nationwide will receive a special mini shikishi set, showcasing original artwork by Kohei Horikoshi.
This exclusive set features Deku, Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and a new character named Julio, all depicted in elegant butler-style attire.
fans can now enjoy the non-credit version of the film’s theme song, Homonculus by Vaundy, which has been released online.
The film, which debuted in Japan on August 2, 2024, earned an impressive 370 million yen on its first day, outpacing the previous series record held by My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission.
Under the direction of Tensai Okamura, My Hero Academia: You’re Next boasts a skilled team of contributors, including Yosuke Kuroda as the scriptwriter, Yoshihiko Umakoshi as the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi as the composer.
The animation was produced by Studio Bones, with Kenji Nagasaki providing guidance as the animation advisor.
