On July 22, the official Twitter account for My Hero Academia: You’re Next began streaming a special video promo. The video also features the theme song, “Homunculus,” by Vaundy. My Hero Academia: You’re Next is the fourth anime film in the My Hero Academia franchise and is set to premiere in Japan on August 2. The film will be simultaneously screened in IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema on the same day.
TOHO International will bring the film to U.S. theaters on October 11. For the U.S. release, the film will be available with English subtitles and dub releases.

My Hero Academia: From Manga to Global Phenomenon with Multiple Spin-offs, Films, and Ongoing Projects
My Hero Academia is a manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine, Weekly Shōnen Jump, since July 2014, with its chapters collected into 39 tankōbon volumes as of November 2023.
The series has inspired many spin-off manga, including My Hero Academia: Smash!!, Vigilantes, and Team-Up Missions. In addition to light novels, stage plays, and souvenirs, the franchise has produced numerous video games.
Studio Bones produced the first season from April to June 2016, a second season from April to September 2017, a third season from April to September 2018, a fourth season from October 2019 to April 2020, a fifth season from March to September 2021, a sixth season from October 2022 to March 2023, and a seventh season that is currently in production.
There are three animated films: My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, Heroes Rising, and World Heroes’ Mission, plus nine original video animations. The fourth animated film and a live-action film by Legendary Entertainment are currently in the planning stages.
