Members of the “Rekka Union,” a group of fellow YouTubers including Hwang Cheol-soon, Gujaeok, Crocodile, Ganggo, Karacula, and Eom Tae-Woong, allegedly attempted to extort money from Tzuyang over her past actions.
According to revelations from the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, recorded phone conversations exposed the Rekka Union’s scheme to blackmail Tzuyang for millions of won.
Gujaeok and Jeong Guk-jin were heard discussing tactics to pressure Tzuyang, citing threats of exposing her past to force financial payments. Discussions revealed plans to exploit Tzuyang’s financial success, highlighting the severity of their intentions.
Tzuyang is one of the popular Mukbang YouTubers with 10M subscribers. The recordings further disclosed transactions totaling approximately 55 million won, significantly higher than initially reported amounts.
Additionally, discussions among Rekka Union members hinted at their involvement in other financial controversies, underscoring a pattern of manipulation and exploitation in the online content creator community.
