The legendary Muhammad Ali will be honored by WWE’s Hall of Fame Class of 2024, with an unexpected selection for his induction.
Ali’s Accomplishments in the two Sports
It was announced that The Undertaker, a wrestling great in his own right, will be inducting Ali into the WWE Hall of Fame. The Undertaker gave Ali acclaim for both his accomplishments to WWE and for changing boxing. He related intimate tales about Ali, emphasizing his influence on the two sports.
When Ali faced Gorilla Monsoon and defeated Antonio Inoki at a WWWF event in 1976, he first became involved inside of professional wrestling.
He appeared at the “Collision in Korea” event in 1995 and officiated WrestleMania I in 1985 as a special guest.
Ali was a well-known campaigner outside of sports who gained notoriety for his refusal to be recruited in the Vietnam War. Even after his death in 2016, Ali’s influence may still be seen in the sports industry and other fields.
