After delaying, delaying, and then some more delaying, Morbius was finally released after 2 years. It just released on 1st April 2022, and Sony really pulled big April fools on us. After seeing Spider-Man No Way Home I was really hyped up for this one, hoping Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man would show up. I mean, they hinted at all three of the Spider-Man in its trailer, then they also did some reshoots after the huge success of No Way Home. But even after all that, it was a huge disappointment for Sony’s SpiderVerse. One fan even said he had 2 tickets for Morbius in his car, someone saw and broke through his window and left 4 more tickets, it was that disappointing.
Morbius is a Sony film set in the Spider-Man universe. It is a superhero film directed by Daniel Espinosa that follows Dr. Michael Morbius, a talented biochemist who suffers from a rare blood condition. During his attempts to heal himself, a failed self-experiment causes him to develop a sort of mutant vampirism. While this illness grants Michael supernatural powers, it also causes him to have a terrible hunger for blood, making him a possible menace to mankind.
Morbius Filming Locations: Where Was Morbius Filmed?
‘Morbius’ was shot in California, England, and New York, with locations including Manchester, London, Los Angeles, and New York City. Principal filming began on February 26, 2019, and will conclude in June 2019. Additional reshoots were later scheduled for February and March 2020.
