Moonlight Peaks has officially launched on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, bringing its unique blend of cozy farming, supernatural storytelling, and life simulation to Nintendo players.

To celebrate the release, developer Little Chicken Game Company and publisher Crunching Koalas have also released a new launch trailer showcasing the game’s magical world and core gameplay features.

Build a vampire life in a magical gothic town

Unlike traditional farming simulators, Moonlight Peaks puts players in the role of a young vampire determined to prove that compassion can be just as powerful as fear. Set in a town inhabited by witches, werewolves, mermaids, and other supernatural beings, players inherit an abandoned family homestead and transform it into a thriving gothic farm.

Players can grow enchanted crops, raise mystical livestock, decorate their cottage with gothic-inspired customization, and use vampire abilities to improve their farm. Magic also plays a major role, allowing players to learn spell-casting, potion brewing, and shapeshifting while uncovering the secrets of the town’s seven influential families.

Beyond farming, Moonlight Peaks offers a wide range of relaxing activities. Players can fish, forage, embroider, arrange flowers, and collect cards for the in-game strategy game Nokturna. The title also features relationship-building with more than two dozen romanceable characters, giving players opportunities to form friendships or pursue romantic storylines while learning more about the town’s mysterious history.

Nintendo describes the game as an opportunity to “experience life as a vampire in a magical town full of werewolves, witches, mermaids, and more,” highlighting its mix of life simulation and supernatural adventure.

Moonlight Peaks is available now digitally through the Nintendo eShop, with a physical edition also planned.
