In the previous chapter of Monster Duke’s Daughter, Lotilucia learns more about the Demons and the Continent she is living in. She gets to know that the original inhabitants of the Continent she is living in were Demons. The Demons were chased out by humans who disapproved of their existence and isolated them in an unwanted region. Lotilucia realizes that the Demons were not actually abandoned by the Gods since they are alive but driven away by the hateful and scared humans.

Later, Veronica gives Lotilucia some cookies, and Lotilucia absolutely loves them.
