Smilegate’s MIRESI: Invisible Future made a strong impression at Tokyo Game Show 2026, where attendees reportedly waited more than two hours to experience the upcoming title. The game was showcased at Smilegate’s official booth at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, during the four-day event held from September 17 to 20.
The strong turnout gives MIRESI an encouraging pre-release reception as Smilegate continues development on the cross-platform mobile and PC game. Alongside the playable demo, the booth featured new gameplay content, character showcases, stage events, cosplayers, and appearances from popular VTubers.
Smilegate also used the event to introduce two notable pieces of MIRESI content. Art Director Hyung-sup “Hyulla” Kim revealed the new Memento feature, while a gameplay demonstration provided attendees with their first look at Raid content.
MIRESI Demo Draws Long Queues at TGS 2026
The MIRESI: Invisible Future demo zone was one of the major attractions at Smilegate’s TGS 2026 booth, with wait times exceeding two hours. Attendees could also participate in a Stamp Rally, collect stamps around the booth, take part in a large-scale gacha, and compete for exclusive merchandise.
The booth itself was designed to make MIRESI highly visible throughout the event. A four-sided LED tower and large LED gate displayed character visuals from the game, with videos shown on the gate surpassing 5 million views on X during TGS 2026.
The demo also returned for its second year, with Smilegate highlighting improved graphics and new content. The event gave players an opportunity to experience the game ahead of its eventual launch while providing the developer with direct feedback from attendees.

One of the key reveals at the booth was Memento, a feature that brings characters’ memories to life through illustrations. Art Director Hyung-sup “Hyulla” Kim introduced the feature during a live drawing show on the TGS stage.
Smilegate also showcased MIRESI’s Raid content through a pre-release gameplay demonstration featuring VTubers NEKOTA TSUNA and Kamito. The mode allows players to use a team of four characters to take on a boss, offering another look at the game’s combat and team-based gameplay.
The stage lineup also featured popular cosplayers Moe Iori and Enako, who appeared as MIRESI characters Ende and Itsuka, respectively.
“We would like to thank all the attendees and fans who visited the Smilegate booth during TGS,”
said Young-hoon Baek, CBO of Smilegate.
“The strong interest and positive feedback from players around the world have shown us the potential of our upcoming lineup.”
MIRESI: Invisible Future remains in development for mobile and PC with cross-platform support. Pre-registration is currently available through the game’s official website, while Smilegate continues to share updates ahead of its launch.
