Mickey Rourke has officially left Celebrity Big Brother UK after facing backlash for inappropriate behavior and offensive language on the show.
The 72-year-old actor, known for roles in Sin City and The Wrestler, was reprimanded earlier this week for his comments and actions toward fellow housemates.
The controversy began after Rourke got into a heated exchange with JoJo Siwa. During the April 9 episode, he asked Siwa about her sexuality, which led to a series of inappropriate comments.

Rourke later made a homophobic remark, saying that Siwa would “no longer be gay” if he stayed longer than four days in the house.
He also made further inappropriate gestures and comments directed at other contestants, including host AJ Odudu, prompting calls for his removal.
After a warning from the producers, Rourke agreed to leave the show on April 12, 2025. The incident occurred after Rourke’s comments earned him a spot in the public vote for eviction.
Siwa, who had the power to nominate someone for automatic eviction, made it clear that Rourke’s behavior influenced her decision.
Rourke apologized, stating that his comments were made in jest and were not intended to be harmful. However, after further discussions with producers, it was agreed that his departure from the show was in the best interest of all involved.
