Metaphor: ReFantazio players can now begin their fantasy adventure on Nintendo Switch 2 ahead of the game’s official launch on November 12, 2026. ATLUS has released a Prologue Demo that lets players explore the opening story, experience its social features, and discover the United Kingdom of Euchronia before purchasing the full game.

The demo offers a substantial preview of the acclaimed role-playing game, including the beginning of the protagonist’s quest to lift the prince’s curse. Players can explore the first four dungeons, unlock seven of the game’s more than 40 Archetypes, and meet six followers who will support their journey.

Importantly, progress made in the Nintendo Switch 2 demo will carry over to the full game, allowing players to continue their adventure without restarting from the beginning. The demo is available through the Nintendo eShop listing, while pre-orders for the full version are also open.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version launches on November 12, 2026. The game is also available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam.
