Assemble all the action-adventure fans!! The all-new Netflix animation show is right around the corner to release, and fans are wondering when the Mech Cadets episode 1 is going to be released.
The show is going to feature huge robots that are not from over Earth but from far away from the galaxy that is going to join the already popular animated characters on Netflix.
Mech Cadets is action-packed, it’s heroic, it’s engaging, and the anime style is pristine, vibrant, and stunning. The simplest way to describe this show is that it is kind of like the perfect cross between Thunderbirds and Pacific Rim. The difference; is you don’t need two people to pilot the Jaeger in Mech Cadets.
The origin of the Jaegers themselves, also known as the Robots, is a mystery, which I am sure will be part of the story in the subsequent season, and I cannot wait for that further excitement.
From Polygon Pictures and Boom Studios Mech Cadets series is about the underdog teens joining a group of Young Cadets, the next generation of pilots, who have been chosen to non with the Robomax from Space and defend Earth from the alien invaders that are attacking our planets.
What Netflix’s Show Mech Cadets is Gonna Be All About?
I am not sure if this upcoming show is gonna catch many eyeballs, seeing that there is only a little marketing strategy built around it, so that is why I am pretending that Mech Cadets will probably end up becoming one of those hidden gems that slowly but surely gains its popularity only by word of mouth.
There are a total of ten episodes, each running about 25 minutes short. Basically, the Robos come to Earth and choose while Pilot they want to essentially bond with.
Now, that in itself create its own drama because the General charge of the whole operation has a strong-headed daughter who feels entitled to a Robo, even though she may not be worthy of a Robo.
Meanwhile, a janitor’s kid who everyone says should be an engineer wants to be a Pilot instead and finds himself bonding with a Robo he named “Buddy.”
The enemy here is an alien species called “Sharks.” They have got armor and claws, and they can fly, and they burrow themselves into the ground. They are scary, they are intimidating, and they are many.
If you look at Sharks in this show, they would kind of remind you of the nasty giant bugs in Starship Troopers. At the heart of it, Mech Cadets is a story about “misfits,”
There is a disabled Pilot who doesn’t have a leg, and there is a Pilot who is old and aging, and even when they are in their Robo Format, one of them, named Olivia, stands out, because she is the only one who is piloting the actually man-made machine.
In addition to that, there is this consistent emphasis on whether to put all humanity first or to put your loved ones first, and the choice you make between those two can define you as a person and as a pilot. I think that is an arguable dilemma that will sort of divide audiences.
