Angie is informed that Leticia is outside the banquet and seems to be in trouble. Hearing this, Angie rushes to see what’s wrong with her friend as earlier, Leticia had said she wouldn’t be visiting. Once they meet, Angie asks Leticia what’s wrong and tries to comfort her, but Leticia smacks her hand away.
Seeing her reaction, Angie is worried and has no clue on how to approach her. She wasn’t aware of what Leticia was going through and instinctively went to console her. Leticia lashes out on Angie and asks her why she lied.
She knew now that when she first asked Angie if she had ever met Lord Kylek before, Angie said no, which was far from the truth. A flashback revisits Leticia’s memory where she is seen to be anxious and afraid. She tells her father if she really has to go through with this plan and meet Lord Kylek.
She wasn’t ready to see him as he had been rumored to have a gruesome and monster like face. Leticia was immediately dismissed by her father and told to not spew nonsense. Meanwhile, the woman with them told Leticia that her dear friend Angie unlike her, willingly wanted to be the Lord’s partner.
Hearing this made Leticia feel betrayed, and she could not look at Angie anymore. Angie is taken away and the letter she received from Kye was also hidden. After time had passed since the confrontation, Angie never saw Leticia again.
