Match Made In Heaven By Chance follows the life of Jia Han, who is a 32-year-old single jobless woman. Jia Han lives with her parents, and the only work she does is freelancing, which is barely enough to live alone and so Jia Han lives her days with her parents while hearing their constant nagging.
Jia Han also had a younger sister who was married and had two kids; seeing them happy with their married life and her parent bickering made Jia Han depressed to go out of the house for a while, and that is when she met Micheol Jin.
Micheol Jin was just like Jia Han, he was also 32 years old and single, but he had a stable career and plenty of money. Micheol Jin and Jia Han were childhood friends, so with their old familiarity, they started talking about their life’s problems, and then suddenly Jia Han suggested that they should marry to fix their problems, and Micheol Jin agreed to it.
Everything progressed fast, they married the very next day and went on a honeymoon, and now Jia Han is thinking how her life flipped over one day very fast; now she already has a husband, and they are now on their honeymoon.

In the previous chapter, Micheol Jin helps Jia Han find a stable job. With Micheol Jin’s connection as an assistant manager in a medium size company, it was easy for Micheol Jin to set up opportunities and interviews for Jia Han.
Jia Han failed all job interviews miserably due to her firey personality and even going as far as to beat up a manager during her interview. At the end of the day, Jia Han came home tired, and Micheol Jin made dinner for her. They talked about Jia Han having a hard time, and that is when Micheol Jin made a suggestion of work as his personal assistant.
