Alongside the announcement, Aniplex released a new teaser trailer that gave fans their first glimpse of the upcoming season while hinting at the challenges waiting for Mash Burnedead.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 Will Adapt the Tri-Magic-Athalon Arc

Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 will adapt the Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, continuing the story after the events of Season 2. Mash Burnedead and his friends move one step closer to becoming Divine Visionaries, the highest-ranking magic users in the world.

The new season will also continue the conflict with Innocent Zero, one of the series main villains. His influence has been growing throughout the story, setting up even bigger battles for Mash and his allies.

The recently released teaser trailer offers a brief look at the upcoming arc, hinting at intense action and the challenges waiting for Mash as the story enters one of its biggest stages.

Returning Staff and Voice Cast

Most of the creative team behind the anime is returning for Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3. Director Tomoya Tanaka, series composer Yōsuke Kuroda, and music composer Masaru Yokoyama are all back for the new season at A-1 Pictures.

One notable change is the character design. Chiaki Furuzumi, who previously worked on Solo Leveling, joins the series as the new character designer, replacing Hisashi Higashijima.

The main Japanese voice cast will also return, including Chiaki Kobayashi as Mash Burnedead, Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames, Kaito Ishikawa as Lance Crown, Takuya Eguchi as Dot Barrett, Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine, and Hiroaki Hirata as the narrator.

About Mashle: Magic and Muscles

Created by Hajime Kōmoto, Mashle: Magic and Muscles was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2020 to 2023 and concluded with 18 collected manga volumes.

The story follows Mash Burnedead, a boy born without magic in a world where magical ability determines social status. Instead of using spells, Mash relies entirely on his incredible physical strength to overcome every challenge.

The anime premiered in April 2023, followed by its second season in early 2024. Both seasons are available to stream on Crunchyroll, which is also expected to stream Season 3 internationally.

What Fans Can Expect From Season 3

The new teaser trailer gives fans an early look at the next stage of Mash’s journey, featuring new battles and higher stakes as the story moves into the Tri-Magic-Athalon Arc.

Season 3 will continue the series’ signature blend of comedy, action, and over-the-top battles while introducing stronger opponents and expanding the conflict with Innocent Zero.

With Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 officially scheduled for January 2027, fans can look forward to the anime’s return after nearly three years since Season 2, as Mash continues his quest to become a Divine Visionary.
