Martial God Regressed to Level 2 Chapter 44 will be airing this coming week! Previously, Seong Jihan was forced to encounter a serious dilemma as the Martial God revoked all his powers. He now had to figure out a way to get his gifts back or he wouldn’t be able to participate in the competition against Baron.
After all the hard work Jihan had put in, his three open datians became the reason for his downfall. The upcoming chapter of Martial God Regressed to Level 2 would hopefully further explain why the Martial God was wary of this skill Jihan had.
On the other hand, Gayeon too seems to have something to say to Hayeon. The chapter cuts midway when Hayeon asks her how her training has been going, and Chapter 44 will finally reveal why Gayeon looked disappointed on hearing that question.
Recap
The chapter opens with the narrator describing Seong Jihan’s powers, and how he got into the Top 100. The sole reason for him earning a spot was the mere play of “force”. Without force, the other stats did not have much power.
There was also his stat of Martial power that’s highly regarded, but without learning the nameless divine arts, it was futile to Jihan. He needed to get the approval from the Martial god in order to have it match the power of “force”.
Even thought one having force has much more power than a regular person with strength, stamina and speed, there are also different weight classes within those who do have force. Baron’s force was one that outweighed the rest, and he was also one of Jihan’s competitors.
Coming back to Jihan, he was well aware how risky it would be to fight Baron head on. Jihan needed to unlock the nameless divine arts in order to even be on level with Baron. While practicing, he gets a call from Lee Hayeon. She asks him who to pick this time, and he gives his own name.
At Hayeon’s place, Gayeong pays her a visit and tells her they need to leave. Hayeon is still indecisive about what Jihan told him, as she knew Baron would be participating in the match for the Top 100. Since Baron was the strongest out of them, she leaned more to bidding in his name than Jihan’s.
Back at Jihan’s place, he was finally done fulfilling all the requirements required to talk to the Martial God. His Wandering eye reacted and he was able to get in touch with the Martial God, who gave him the skill of the nameless divine arts.
Jihan was accepted as the successor of the Martial God, and received all the necessary skills to grow in power. However, things take a turn as soon as he wished his Martial power to grow to level 30. The Martial God noticed that Jihan’s three datians had already been opened.
The divine power becomes wary of Jihan and revokes all the privileges and skills that were just given to him. Jihan is confused of what was going on as he didn’t understand why his datians were so important.The Martial technique succession for Jihan had been cancelled.
The chapter ends with Jihan dropping from being rank 7 in the entire world to losing all his gifts. He was now left with another problem with the promotional round right around the corner.
